Great experience with Wally and everyone at Walt's! Very knowledgeable, very thorough and very fair. I had a cracked engine block on my 2018 Ford Escape (the year that was not supposed to be plagued by that flaw). I will skip the details of Ford not covering a known defect because of my mileage, and my taking it to Walt's instead of Ford for the work. The short version is that I have a new Ford engine (3 year unlimited miles warranty) installed by pros.

Great cusomer service, honest, friendly and professional. I appreciate that Wally took the time to find the best tires at the best price for my car, also they found where the gas leak was and went to extra mile to research and find the way to only replace the tray instead of the whole gas tank, which saved me thousand of dollars. Today was my first visit to Walt's for automotive services. I truly wish that I had discovered Walt's business 28 years ago! My experience at Walt's was professional, pleasant, efficient, and essentially checked the boxes for everything I expect but seldom find. Gosh, even the repair areas were clean and well organized! I own 4 vehicles and going forward I plan to rely on Walt's for all of my vehicle maintenance and servicing needs. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent today chatting with Walt (the owner), Jill (office manager) and the service personnel.

If you are looking for a fast, friendly, and honest experience, look no further. My car was due for a general maintenance but had a couple of other things going on. They thoroughly investigated everything I mentioned and either fixed it or told me what was necessary to fix. They brought up any concerns I didn't mention and found the most economical and safe solution to employ. I have had honest mechanics in the past - but I will say Walt and his team are among the friendliest. The whole experience was very pleasant and painless. He truly has made his service shop a family from the customers to the employees, it had a very positive feel. I'll definitely be returning.

Walt's replaced my catalytic converter. He did a fantastic job. Great workmanship, professionalism and communicator. I will definitely use again!!!!

Wally is by far the most honest and capable mechanic I have ever done business with. He kept my car in tip top shape. I moved away from the East Bay but I still recommend him to my friends in Danville and Alamo.
